PURE MinimalisT

The essence of minimalism is an uncompromising 'less is more’ approach. The understated simplicity of this type of furniture makes it one of the most popular styles. It ties in with everything and can focus your room on your desired objects, be they a work of art or a designer sofa.. There's a lot of substance in simplicity! Soft closing systems complete the look for cabinetry that belies tons of space behind its near-invisible presence.  This furniture lets the eye see the space undisturbed - a bright, open and calming interior.

Timeless classic

A classic style, perfect for listed buildings, period properties or a character home, It's a quintessentially British (or French) style that complements original features using timeless designs and elegant profiles, creating a classy, effortlessly elegant interior. Alcove units and traditional wardrobes fit seamlessly with existing period features such as covings and fireplaces. Decorative mouldings, cornices, panelled doors, tongue and groove and subtle colours are often featured, as well as door knobs and exposed hinges.

Mid Century & Scandi

These two styles have grown enormously in popularity in the last few years. Why? Because they are the antithesis of fussy. Mid Century Modern (MCM) taking its cue from Italian and British designers (Ercol, Heritage, Young & co.) offers clear bold lines, enhanced woodgrain,  curves, creative use of metallics and user-friendly designs. Scandi style marries understated minimalism but with the philosophy of hygge. It's uncluttered, sleek yet cosy, airy. It uses light natural wood and neutrals, which makes it everyone's favourite.

 Authentic Shaker

Historically, this style dates back to the Shaker Quakers, who, in mid-18th century North America, created furniture that reflected their principles. It is synonymous with simplicity, fine craftsmanship and functionality. Despite its lack of ornamentation, the artistry of the cabinets is exquisite: a special skill is needed to make Shaker cabinet doors. Because of its very simplicity, it is a wonderful timeless style that suits both contemporary and traditional interiors, with many a variation in terms of end panels, handles & pulls and colours.

Rustic & Country

A style that's full of charm and characterised by warmth, comfort and the human dimension. Country style kitchens often feature butler sinks, range cookers, wicker baskets, hanging racks, butchers blocks and wooden worktops. Colours are soft and the emphasis is on a well-loved, lived-in space that's cosy and casual, homely and with a big heart. In rustic interiors, wood is king, especially when aged and full of character. The natural look provides the inspiration for contemporary designs that include texture such as that of rough sawn wood or reclaimed planks.

Eco plywood

Creativity marries practicality for this new, young style of furniture, which is enjoying huge success recently due to its sustainability and affordability. The characteristic edges of plywood can provide wonderful features and door fronts can be stained or painted in any colour you can dream of. Additionally, plywood can be used to create fabulous wood panelling, beautifully ingenious shelving solutions and peg walls such as the one seen above. It's a fun look that offers the warmth of natural wood without breaking the bank. Plywood is where it's at!

Boho Chic & Eclectic

This hard to define furniture style suits free spirits and those who love nature and travelling. Its rebellious individuality is perfectly suited to bespoke creations. Boho chic & eclectic translate into furniture that features cane and rattan, vivid colours and either retro or ethnic-inspired patterns and designs. This kind of furniture feels light, creates an organic, warm feel and emphasises great craftsmanship, environmental consciousness and open mindedness. Colourful, arty and full of vitality, it's at once natural and original - and always interesting, never boring.

CONTEMPORARY

The style of 'now' as opposed to 'yesterday,' it's charcterised by clean lines, pure design where function and aesthetics are cleverly fused together. The use defines the look, creating a feature. You'll often see sleek, low-lying, elongated lines, often with the use of repetition. The options are plenty in terms of finish, from luxurious high gloss, clear lacquer, blacks & whites or the pared down elegance of wood with glorious matching woodgrain surfaces. Concealed hinges and routed or invisible handles accessorise this forward-thinking style beautifully.
